Roaming Genocide in Eastern DRC
As the Congolese armed forces (FARDC) along with their genocidal partners FDLR lose miserably at the battle front to the disciplined, professional M23, genocide against Rwandofones and particularly Tutsi is top on their agenda.
Just two days ago a policeman in the Congolese national police Gasanabandi Amani was "arrested" by FARDC/FDLR in broad daylight, tied up and taken to civilians who were given ordered to KILL him in cold blood in broad daylight while filming the inhuman act. His only crime was being TUTSI.
Recently in South Kivu a senior army officer was dragged out of a vehicle killed and eaten by civilians with his fellow soldiers doing but filming with smiles over their evil ugly faces as though nothing wrong was happening. The same happened in Kalemie where a civilian Munyamulenge massacred roasted and eaten as the police watched and filmed. The most disturbing was of a FARDC soldier bluntly chopping an 11 year old boy in Minembwe just because he was Tutsi and military leadership doing nothing to the killer soldier. The list of these senseless killings is so long to exhaust.
Right now in territory Masisi, civilians and particularly Tutsi are being instructed by FARDC/FDLR and other extremist groups to gather in public places like hospitals, churches and schools with the pretext of protecting them; this however is not the reason, the main reason is to have the gathered together for ease in exterminating them just like the Interahamwe currently FDLR gathered Tutsi back in Rwanda in 1994 and exterminated them with ease.
The sad part though is that the East African heads of state before asking M23 to put down their weapons and leave captured areas, should first and foremost be fighting, disarming and forcing these genocidal forces back to wherever they came from. Anything short of that will be betrayal to humanity in Congo just like it was in Rwanda in 1994.
In conclusion therefore, M23 deserves all the rights to stay in areas it captured as a way to avert this roaming genocide in their motherland. May God bless M23 and the liberation!
