War in the Eastern DR. Congo: Why fighting has resumed in the North Kivu Province.



DR Congo government through its weak and corrupt armed forces FARDC has merged with terrorist genocidal forces FDLR, different Mayi mayi groups, RUD Urunana to mention but a few. All this is for them to try to exterminate the Kinyarwanda speaking Congolese of Tutsi ethnic group in South Kivu (Banyamulenge), North Kivu the Banyamasisi and Bajomba.

This and more is the reason why most of their youngmen joined the RPF in their Rwandan Liberation struggle mainly to acquire military skills that they would subsequently put to use in defending their people from the extremist groups that crossed from Rwanda after committing the worst genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda and losing power.

They fled to DR Congo formerly Zaire under Mobutu with all their weapons and tried hard to continue the genocide against the Congolese Tutsi most of who fled and stayed in Camps in Rwanda. This is the genesis of most of the insecurity in Eastern part of DR Congo right under the watch of equally corrupt and insensitive UN (MONUSCO).

It never seems to make sense when DR Congo and some international agencies start white washing the crimes committed by DR Congo and the terrors outfits it has decided to work closely with and instead brands M23 a professional and disciplined rebel outfit fighting for genuine reasons.

As we speak now people who have not fallen prey to the lies peddled by DR Congo authorities and their indisciplened FARDC and returned to their homes in M23 controlled areas are enjoying relative freedom. However those in government controlled are being killed, raped and looted at will and wishing different.

It's things like those mentioned above that give M23 more reasons to fight and rid DR Congo of all those armed groups, liberate the whole of Congo and bring all Congolese from refugee camps in the region to their motherland.

  What is State of Peace in the M23 Controlled Areas? By 12 th may 2022, over thousands Congolese had fled the country’s East region and arrived in neighboring countries, in Uganda, and Rwanda. Today, the number of displaced Congolese within Kisoro has lowered with an increase of many of them turning back to their country under the control of M23 Movement because there is peace. Peace jokes not peace talks is what took place in Luanda and Nairobi! Everyone globally is aware of what has been happening in Eastern DR Congo this recent past but when we see the party's claiming to be mediating the peaceful resolution to the conflict and ignoring M23 the one and only group fighting for a just cause, we wonder what their agenda may be.
