DR Congo government clearly not ready for peace

For those who have been following the (security situation) fighting in Eastern part of the country know the cost it has had on the innocent civilians.

It beats every right thinking person's understanding how the government instead of finding a peaceful way to end the war, decides to plan an offensive against genuine citizens fighting for their rights. The gorvenment vows to chase them out of DRC. The government chose to fight alongside criminal terrorist rogue groups like FDLR, Mayi mayi and others that have terrorised that part of the country for decades.

This government coalition is doing all this ignoring the fact that M23 has constantly beaten them at the battle  ground.

As if this is not bad enough, they are still spreading hateful and xenophobic propaganda against all Rwandaphone in DR Congo. It was shameful to hear the President Tshisekedi while addressing the UN summit in New York accusing the neighbors Rwanda. DR Congo and it's weak leadership have constantly refused to look at their internal problems and kept pointing fingers at the neighbors who have absolutely nothing to gain in their problems.

Until the moment Congolese government decides to own their problems and be humble enough to seat at the table and seek a peaceful solution to this home grown problem the fighting will not end.
